Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Note that in all the graphs the video cards are compared by price.  The most expensive video card by MSRP is on top, while the least expensive video card by MSRP is on bottom.  In this way you can compare pricing from bottom to top and see where performance lies.

In the graph we are using the latest version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.  The game is running in DX12 and we have all of the in-game settings at their maximum values for graphics.  We are using the built-in benchmark for testing results and we verified playability in gameplay.  Feel free to test your video cards performance and see how it compares against ours.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Dues Ex: Mankind Divided Performance at 1440p

Something interesting is happening in this game, the AMD Radeon VII is actually 6% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 FE video card.  It is also faster than the new RTX 2080 SUPER FE by a smaller 2%.  This is the one and only game where this happened.  We are running this game in DX12, perhaps the Radeon VII just does exceptionally well in this game for reasons, reasons we do not know.   We checked and double-checked our results.  Once again, the game matters, differences are different based on the game.

The GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE is 4% faster than the RTX 2080 FE.  All video cards here are playable.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Dues Ex: Mankind Divided Performance at 4k

This game is still very demanding at 4K.  Even the RTX 2080 Ti FE cannot pull off a playable experience with max settings at 4K.  You will have to lower settings by one notch.  Once again, we also see the Radeon VII showing a strong performance in this game matching the new GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE on performance.

The GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE is 5% faster than the RTX 2080 FE at 4K.

Even though the Radeon VII is this good in this one game, out of all the other games, it wasn’t.  Therefore, this is a bit out of the norm.
