Shadow of the Tomb Raider

We are using the latest version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  We are using the built-in benchmark.  We are running the game in DX12 and have set all the options custom to the highest settings possible.  We are using SMAA2TX at 1440p.

Once again we found 1440p to be the ideal resolution for this video card while gaming.  We found this game very playable with the highest in-game settings with SMAA 2TX enabled.  Enabling SMAA 4X was a bit too much, but SMAA 2TX at this resolution works great.  The ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING is 18% faster than the GeForce RTX 2070 FE which is a big increase.  The overclocked ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 O8G GAMING is 9% faster than the RTX 2070 SUPER FE.

To push the graphics harder we enabled “High” Ray Tracing shadows in this graph.  Only the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING Overclocked is near playable here.  It’s 11% faster than the RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition when overclocked.

Lightening the load we also tried “Medium” Ray Tracing.  This makes all the video cards playable, though obviously much faster on the RTX 2070 SUPER based video cards.
