Metro: Exodus

We are using the latest version of Metro: Exodus.  For our testing, we are using the built-in benchmark.  We are utilizing “Extreme” game settings and HairWorks and PhysX turned on.  We are running this game in DX12.

In this game we found 1440p was the preferred resolution with the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING video card for the best gameplay experience.  In this graph we are showing 1440p with the “Extreme” graphics preset.  The ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING is 19% faster than the GeForce RTX 2070 providing a nice performance boost.

The ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING also provides a 4% improvement over the RTX 2070 SUPER FE.  However, when we overclock the ASSU ROG STRIX RTX 2070 SUPER O8G GAMING then its performance is 9% faster than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FE.

We also wanted to turn on just “High” Ray Tracing.  You can see how it affects performance.  No video card is playable at these settings, but we do still see a nice improvement from the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2070 O8G GAMING versus RTX 2070 FE.
