Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ghost Recon Breakpoint supports Vulkan API now, so we are running the benchmark in the Vulkan API.  Check out our full Vulkan API versus DX11 performance review of the game.

In this graph, we are running the game at 4K with the highest quality setting called “Ultimate” quality.  Only the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti O11G GAMING can provide a playable experience at near 60FPS in this game.  Overclock it and you get a 14% performance improvement and even better performance.

It certainly beats the GeForce RTX 2080 FE by 48%.  Part of that is due to the GeForce RTX 2080 FE exceeding the VRAM capacity because it only has 8GB of VRAM onboard.  The RTX 2080 TI with 11GB has enough VRAM capacity for this resolution and game setting to not exceed the game’s cap.

Ghost Recon Breakpoing

Moving down to 1440p we see the GeForce RTX 2080 FE improve a lot because it isn’t as bottlenecked by VRAM capacity at the lower resolution.  Still, the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti blows past it at 23% faster.  Overclocking the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti improves performance by 7%.
