UHD Graphics 750 Performance Continued
Next up is Wolfenstein Youngblood, which came out in 2019. Even though this game is newer, it does perform with very high framerates on dedicated GPUs, it’s more of an easy-going game graphically for today’s dedicated GPUs. Note that this game is running in the Vulkan API on both Intel UHD Graphics here, which is nice to see that it worked. At 720p in the “Low” graphics preset option, the Intel UHD Graphics 750 is very playable at 30FPS. The Intel UHD Graphics 630 is now, the new UHD 750 is 45% faster.
We tried bumping the game up to 1080p, but just like the others it just couldn’t take it. Even the Intel UHD Graphics 750 is unplayable. It is at least 42% faster than the UHD 630.
Assassins Creed Valhalla
Assassins Creed Valhalla is a very recent game, it was released toward the end of the year 2020. At 720p with the absolute lowest settings the game will go, we find it completely unplayable on even the Intel UHD Graphics 750 at 20FPS average. Yeah, there is nothing else we can do here, the game is at the lowest settings possible, at 720p, and it’s still unplayable. We couldn’t even set the resolution lower. That just means this is one game you won’t be playing on it. The UHD 750 is 54% faster than the UHD 630, but it doesn’t mean much considering 20FPS is unplayable.
Hitman 3
Hitman 3 was released this year, 2021. However, it is a game that performs very well as it is using a dated engine at this point that has been highly optimized. At 720p with the lowest graphics settings, and everything that can be, turned off, the Intel UHD Graphics 750 provides a very smooth and playable experience at 38FPS average. There’s room to spare here. The UHD 750 is 51% faster than the UHD 630.
Apparently, there isn’t headroom to bump the game up to 1080p though, even by keeping all the graphics settings at low and off. The UHD 750 is 57% faster than the UHD 630, but both are unplayable. It seems though, at 720p you might be able to turn a few settings up a notch from low to medium at least.
