We are now testing in the popular SiSoftware Sandra 2021 version.  We are testing the CPU arithmetic section.  In this graph above we are looking at Dhrystone integer performance in multi-threading. In this test, unlike Geekbench, we find there to be absolutely no difference when it comes to strictly integer CPU performance.

However, that changes when we look at floating-point CPU performance. Here we actually find the DDR4 is 4% faster, it’s not a major difference, but perhaps the tighter timings and latencies of DDR4 are beneficial here.

In single-core integer performance, performance is identical.
