Power and Temperature
To test the power and temperature we perform a manual run-through in Cyberpunk 2077 at “Ultra” settings for real-world in-game data. We used GPUZ sensor data to record the results. We report on the GPUZ sensor data for “Board Power” and “GPU Chip Power” when available for our Wattage data. For temperature data, we report the GPU (Edge Temp of the GPU) as well as the Hot Spot (Junction Temperature) when available for our temperature data.
Power
In our power readings, we see that the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060 OC Low Profile card stays fairly close to its advertised power window of 115 Watts. This NVIDIA card is quite a bit more power efficient operating at 30% less overall versus the comparison Radeon RX 7600.
Temperature
When we look at cooling, we see the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7600 GAMING OC is quite a bit cooler, almost 50% cooler at the GPU measurement. The hot spot is 30% cooler. We would assume that this is a direct result of the size of the coolers, as the RX 7600 is a full-sized video card with 90mm cooling fans. Our overclocked cooling temperatures are lower due to running fans at 100%. Still, for a small little video card, the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060 OC Low Profile is not running terribly hot.
