Metro: Exodus

We are using the latest version of Metro: Exodus.  For our testing we are using the built-in benchmark.  We are utilizing “Extreme” game settings and HairWorks and PhysX turned OFF.  We are running this game in DX12.

Apples-to-Apples

This game is very graphically intense on this video card.  Even at 1080p it is nowhere near playable at the “Extreme” graphics preset.  We even have HairWorks and PhysX disabled here.  We are definitely going to have to drop game settings to make it playable even at 1080p.

Highest Playable Settings

To make this game playable at 1080p we have to drop it two settings down to “High” graphics setting.  When we do this the video card is now just barely at that line of playability, the benchmark averages 54FPS.  You may even find yourself dropping the game all the way down to “Medium” settings at 1080p just to have smooth gameplay in all situations.
