Shadow of the Tomb Raider

We are using the latest version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  We are using the built-in benchmark.  We are running the game in DX12 and have set all the options custom to the highest settings possible.  We are using SMAA2TX.

Apples-to-Apples

This game performs great on this video card at 1080p with the highest in-game settings.  It is playable at default performance and overclocking improves performance by 10%.  However, there is a sharp drop off moving up to 1440p with the highest in-game settings, the game becomes unplayable.  We will have to drop settings at 1440p to be playable.

Highest Playable Settings

In order to make this game playable at 1440p we had to back the settings down to the “High” preset which is two settings down from the highest.  The game is now playable near 60FPS, showing how intense it is at higher resolutions.
