Gears 5 is similar to Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Even though the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT is beating it, the ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC still provides a great gameplay experience at 1080p with the highest “Insane” level of graphics settings. Overclocking the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti improves performance by 7%. The overclocked XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT is 23% faster than the overclocked ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti.
Moving one graphics setting level down to “Ultra” also allows the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti to give us a very good gameplay experience. Overclocking the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti improves performance by 7%.
At 1440p we can get a good gameplay experience at “Ultra” settings as well. Overclocking the video card improves performance by 8%. This helps “Ultra” be even more playable. If you want to sustain over 60FPS at 1440p you’ll have to drop the settings down to “High” at 1440p, which is very playable.
