Metro Exodus
In Metro Exodus we used the built-in benchmark to gather data. We started here at 1440p with “Ultra” settings. This is one setting lower than “Extreme” settings. This game is challenging, but it is playable at “Ultra” settings on the ASUS DUAL RTX 2070 O8G MINI. Overclocking the video card improves performance by 8%. This puts performance on par with Radeon RX 5700 XT and overclocked it is faster than RTX 2070 FE.
We also lowered the game down to 1080p at “Ultra” settings where it performs very well. At this setting and resolution, the ASUS DUAL RTX 2070 O8G MINI provides 60FPS gameplay, which is a great gaming experience. Overclocking it allows it to go over RTX 2070 FE performance and come near Radeon RX 5700 XT performance.
One other setting we had to try was NVIDIA Ray Tracing. This is unique right now on these video cards. This graph shows that the ASUS DUAL RTX 2070 O8G MINI is able to run “Ultra” Ray Tracing at 1080p at “Ultra” game settings. Overclocking the video card improves performance 8% and performs faster than RTX 2070 FE. This gives you some options in gameplay.
