Shadow of the Tomb Raider

We are using the latest version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  We are using the built-in benchmark.  We are running the game in DX12 and have set all the options custom to the highest settings possible.  We are using SMAA2TX and SMAA4X at 1440p.

In this graph, we have SMAA2TX enabled at 1440p with the highest in-game settings.  Now we see the same pattern with the XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra at the top of the chart.  It’s 4% faster than the Radeon RX 5700 XT reference video card.  Overclocking it improves performance by 3%.  When overclocked it’s 12% faster than the GeForce RTX 2070 FE.

We also enabled SMAA 4X, which can be very hard on performance.  This does change things; we now see the GeForce RTX 2070 FE matching the performance of the XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra.  The reference RX 5700 XT falls only slightly behind.  Overclocking the XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra provides the highest performance and it is playable with that video card overclocked.
