Ghost Recon Breakpoint

We are using the latest version of the newly released game, Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  For our benchmarking purposes, we are using the game’s in-game built-in benchmark.  We are using either 1440p or 4K and the game’s built-in graphics presets of either “Extreme” or “Ultra.”  At “Extreme” preset all the game’s graphics options are enabled at the highest levels possible.  This is a DX11 game.  We have also verified performance in real gameplay and verified the highest playable settings.  Feel free to test using the built-in benchmark and compare your results to ours.

At 1440p we did find this game playable at “Extreme” on all of these video cards.  However, you can clearly see there are big advantages on the new RTX 2080 SUPER GPU, especially when it is overclocked.

The MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING X TRIO is 10% faster than the original GeForce RTX 2080 FE video card.  It improves upon the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE by 4%.  Therefore, it does offer a bit more performance than a reference card.  When we overclock it though is when it really shines.  Overclocking it improves performance by 5%.  This now makes it 17% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 FE and 10% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE.

In this graph, we are showing 4K performance, but we have dropped the game settings down one notch to “Ultra.”  We tried testing at “Extreme” but this game setting was simply too much even for the RTX 2080 SUPER at 4K.  However, at “Ultra” the game is definitely playable on the RTX 2080 SUPER based video cards.

At 4K the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING X TRIO is 8% faster than the RTX 2080 FE and 4% faster than the RTX 2080 SUPER FE.  When overclocked though performance is improved by 7% and it is now 15% faster than the RTX 2080 FE and 11% faster than the RTX 2080 SUPER FE.
