In 3DMark we see the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING X roar past the SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5500 XT 8GB OC.  Overclocking it does improve performance, but ultimately the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro does overtake it even overclocked.
