Gears 5 also played very well on all of these video cards.  At 1080p we had no problem running the game at the highest possible “Insane” quality level above ultra.  Every video card, except the Radeon RX 5500 XT was averaging near 60FPS.

The MSI GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING X is 6% faster than the SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5500 XT 8GB OC, again less of a difference than the previous games.  Overclocking the video card improves performance by 8%.  The XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT is 33% faster than the default performance and 23% faster than the overclocked performance.  That’s some pretty big differences for the Radeon RX 5600 XT pulling ahead.

We also lowered the game down to “Ultra” just to give another perspective.  The same pattern holds true.  At “Ultra” the Radeon RX 5500 XT now does a lot better and is very playable.
